AMARAH is a non-profit organisation based in Brisbane, Australia that advocates for a better world.

AMARAH is an acronym for Australian Muslim Advocates for the Rights of All Humanity.

As the name suggests, AMARAH supports and encourages the positive engagement of Muslims on issues of concern for the whole of humanity.

The philosophical essence of AMARAH is derived from a number of central Islamic concepts: khilafah (ambassadorship), amanah (trust), tawhid (unity of God), and taqwa (God-consciousness). The work of AMARAH is focussed on five areas:

  • Human Rights
  • Civil Rights
  • Social Reform
  • Environmental Responsibility
  • Islamic Awareness

AMARAH Inc. is not solely a Muslim organisation, and therefore encourages and welcomes people of all faiths or no faith to join.
